Imagine a future of infinite possibilities; a world where women and girls have the confidence and support to realize their dreams, live healthy lives, earn a fair wage, and be free from violence, abuse, and exploitation.
WOMEN’S WAY is a catalyst for change with three programs impacting women, girls, and families in our region: advocacy, grantmaking, and public education.
WOMEN’S WAY Strategic Planning Update
Our thanks to everyone who has shared their ideas with us as we shape the future of WOMEN’S WAY. We are inspired and motivated by the input we received from:
- Interviews with individuals representing our partners, supporters, volunteers, and community
- Focus groups with colleagues, though leaders, past and current grantee partners, volunteers, supporters, and members of the Young Women’s Initiative
- Input from participants at the Powerful Voice Awards
- A town hall meeting
- An online survey
- A scan of the field to identify trends, opportunities, needs, and ideas
In total, nearly 400 people shared their ideas with us. The WOMEN’S WAY Board of Directors will be hard at work in the coming months, drawing on all of the input to set the direction for the organization. We will continue to update you during the summer, and we look forward to sharing the final outcomes of the process with you – and our plans for the future – very early in the fall.
In the interim, if you have any questions or ideas for us, please contact Rose Ann Scanlon at email@example.com.
We are grateful for your support and patience as we step-back and chart our course for the future – and we thank you for being essential partners in our work.
The 39th Annual Powerful Voice Awards were a huge success!
Thank you to EVERYONE who attended our annual dinner on Tuesday, May 3rd. WOMEN’S WAY is incredibly grateful and moved to have so many friends, supporters and community members in attendance. Having such a dedicated community is incredibly inspiring, and hearing the guests, honorees and speakers share their stories and motivation for supporting WOMEN’S WAY was humbling. Stay tuned for photos from the event on our website and Facebook page.
Thanks again for your support, and for adding your powerful voice to the community!
YWI Preview Party
