New Products for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 4, 2005 -- In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a variety of national companies will offer limited edition products to raise funds for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national nonprofit organization. Promotions range from jewelry and clothing to gourmet kitchenware and accessories. All proceeds fund education and support programs for breast cancer survivors, the recently diagnosed and those living with advanced-stage disease. Specialty retailer White House | Black Market will sell a Pink Charm Watch and Pink Charm Keychain throughout October, with all proceeds benefiting LBBC. The Pink Charm Watch ($44) has a mother-of-pearl dial and is hand crafted of faux pearls, glass stones and resin beads and is adorned with ribbon and heart glass-stone charms. The Pink Charm Keychain ($15) contains a cluster of faux pearls, glass stones and resin beads, and is decorated with ribbon and heart glass-stone charms. Throughout October, Goody Products Inc. will hold a national celebrity auction on goody.com to benefit LBBC. The auction is part of Comfort Meets Cause, a campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer issues.
