This winter, WOMENS WAY's Young Women's Initiative will partner with its member agency the Maternal Child Health Consortium (MCHC) as well as 20 local companies to support low-income women and their familes. From January 24th to February 23rd, an Infant Care Package Drive will be held to collect new items for local mothers enrolled in MCHC's Healthy Start Program.
After the drive has been completed, the items will be sorted at the 7th Annual WOMENS WAY Works Wonders (W4) Volunteer Event on Saturday, February 26th, 10 AM - 2 PM at East Falls Presbyterian Church. On this day, volunteers from across the region will gather to assemble the items into infant care packages and deliver them to Maternal Child Health Consortium.
