In 2002, WOMEN'S WAY partnered with the University
of Pennsylvania's Alice Paul Center for Research on Women
and Gender and Solutions for Progress (a public policy think tank)
to release the first edition of A Change of Pace: Accelerating Women's
Progress.
The original 32-page report takes stock of women's status
in our region in terms of earnings, political representation, retirement
and other benefits, health care, reproductive freedom, housing, violence
and responsibility for care of family members.
The original A Change of Pace report has
served as a cornerstone of public education
and public policy in our region. WOMEN'S WAY
recently collaborated with the Alice Paul
Center to release the 2004 Update to A Change
of Pace. Through this update, WOMEN'S WAY
has made good on its promise to carefully
monitor the status of women and girls in
our region by including new statistical data
and revised text and policy recommendations. To receive
your copy of the updated A Change of Pace
report, please contact WOMEN'S WAY at 215-985-3322
or by e-mail at info@womensway.org. |
