"Those who go forth ministering to the wants and necessities of their fellow beings experience a rich return, their
souls being as a watered garden and as a spring that faileth not." -- Lucretia Mott
The Lucretia Mott Society was named for the 19th century feminist, abolitionist, reformer and crusader for
peace whose spirit guides WOMENS WAY.
 |
We are all beneficiaries of her legacy;
- From the institutions she helped create: the first women's medical college and the first women's
school of art and design;
- To the birth of the women's rights movement; and
- To the the inspiration for WOMENS WAY.
|
WOMENS WAY created the Lucretia Mott Society to recognize and encourage significant contributions in the spirit of its namesake.
Contributors to the Lucretia Mott Society recieve Special recognition in the WOMENS WAY dinner program and annual report. They are
also entitled to periodic members-only issue updates from Women's Ways president.
