The Young Women's Initiative is a dynamic
group of women under the age of 40 who are
prepared to lead WOMEN'S WAY into the future.
Founded in 1997, the Young Women's Initiative
works collectively to increase the knowledge
and awareness of women's issues in the community.
By serving on this committee, young women
can share ideas, plan events, volunteer and
network with like-minded-peers - all while
supporting WOMEN'S WAY.
Young women can help secure WOMEN'S WAY's future by joining the Young Women's Initiative Giving Circle.
Membership levels include:
- Advance notice of WOMEN'S WAY and YWI events.
- Exclusive invitations to YWI networking opportunities.
- Special recognition in the WOMEN'S WAY Annual Event program book.
- Satisfaction of supporting vital services for women and girls in our region.
- Innovator $500 - Funds a leadership training seminar for more than 30 older women.
- Visionary $250 - Funds prenatal home visits for five pregnant women.
- Contemporary $100 - Funds an hour of counseling for a survivor of sexual assault.
