The Coalition for Healthy Families and Workplaces invites you to our Public Forum on Earned Sick Time
During this forum, you will learn about the critical need for, and benefits of, ensuring all workers have earned sick time. Speakers include legislators, affected workers, supportive employers, and physicians. The event will feature new polling data and information from The National Partnership for Women and Families, and will conclude with a call to action so that you can get involved!

You can take action now by signing this online petition, which will be delivered to the Pennsylvania General Assembly and, if you live in Philadelphia, also to City Council - as both are currently considering legislation that would provide workers with earned sick time.
The Coalition for Healthy Families and Workplaces is a group of organizations supporting the need for earned sick time in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. Primary organizers of this event include PathWays PA and WOMEN'S WAY. Coalition Members include:

*This event is hosted by YWI but men and women of all ages are welcome.
About the Young Women's Initiative
The Young Women's Initiative (YWI) is a dynamic group of women under the age of 40 who are prepared to lead WOMEN'S WAY into the future. Founded in 1997, the Young Women's Initiative works collectively to increase the knowledge and awareness of women's issues in the community. By serving on this committee, young women can share ideas, plan events, volunteer, and network with like-minded-peers - all while supporting WOMEN'S WAY.
